MY WRITING!

I have made a narrative story about a captured orangutan called Oranguru, it is nearly finished.

Here it is,

Evolution of the Oranguru

One gloomy day in a jungle that was hidden among the alolan region there was a sage pokemon named Oranguru,

who had a curious spirit. He is extremely intelligent and somewhat particular, Oranguru can be very protective of

people he loves. In the wild he spends most of his time in the jungle, his home but he has been taken away in captive for his powers.

The escape

Oranguru felt scared as he had never been taken away from the jungle. That night he wonders who he will meet.

Then he sees a big building with guards who jump at him and laugh. Oranguru felt scared and alone.he realised

he needed to get out.So Oranguru used zen head but to escape the prison bars that held him back.He ran to the

jungle using his speed ability to blast through the walls. It started to rain as oranguru went home.Suddenly he

accidentally trampled over a human called levi Oranguru carried him as well back to the forest for special treatment

only oraguru knows.Little did he know he was being tracked by the evil corporation that wanted his powers.

Tracker

It was 9:00 and it was hailing and there was thunder. The Oranguru was gathering his last ingredient to heal the child

who was now as cold as a freezer at 3 degrees minus! (3-)he finally gathered the engedents and ran back to the child.

He stirred the ingredients together and smeared it over the child who woke up to a startle and a fright.Hopefully the

recipe worked. The recipe should have made the child able to talk to him.Suddenly the child was talking to him he

said”My name is levi and I am 2 yrs old.”Oranguru was relieved and tired. He fell asleep at once and levi was tired

to.

Oranguru was still snoring when Levi woke with a flashing light gleaming straight in his eye; it was a tracker that

one of the guards had stuck behind his ear.  Levi quickly rushed over and attempted to rip it off, it didn't budge not

an inch he woke oranguru up and Oranguru said he would train Levi.

training

So they started first was kung foo levi worked on his kicks until he could split a tree with one slice. He then went

onto his hands which was an instant go.He then worked on his back flips and flying kicks. He trained hard until his

flying kicks were fast enough that ember came out of the souls of his feet and soon fire. Then then worked on his

speed.Suddenly he was just a blur he was going so fast. Then worked

on meditation at the end of the day until he floated like a cloud. He was as light as one to!This repeated until Levi

was ten and had the ability to do anything, even summon a banana when he was hungry. Oranguru thought Levi

was ready.but Levi wanted to spend a bit more time with Oranguru before he went out. Oranguru said he needed

to tell Levi something.(well show him something)They went deeper into the jungle until there was pink water

flowing from a giant tree. He told Levi this was the spring of healing.Levi was now ready for the fight.

Imprisoned

That night there were lots of lights them and some people holding them and a big machine which was cutting down

trees. levi woke up and Oranguru to hide and then they realised the tracker was still on Oranguru. Levi used his

strength to rip it of and then he threw it so far that it landed on one of the guard's backs.all of the electronic devices

pointed to him. His device just exploded and it lit some of the trees on fire. Levi  shot water out of his palms and

the guards surprised.Oops the guards were coming his way then the giant machines shot a tranquilliser at him Levi

fell to the ground in pain in agony.Levi asked a request for Oranguru who was shocked.”defend the jungle and the

animals living here” Levi said faintly Oranguru hid as Levi was taken back by the giant machine. Oranguru was

furious he then…

The fight

Oranguru  evolved into king kong!the guards hid in the bushes away from the furious beast king Kong.

He destroyed everyone now it was just the machine. Crash it came down with a thump. He needed to find

Levi before they  get him to the corporation

Thank you for viewing.

Olympic Sport Report

 Rowing

Rowing is a Sport where you move oars through the water repeatedly, whilst gaining speed to go backwards. Rowing is a sport where you use not only your arms but your legs and your stomach muscles too.

History

The oars movement performed by the athletes can be dated back to Ancient Egypt. The oars were even used for some giant naval war vessels. In the Ancient times, every Popular Civilisation used rowing for public transport, war and commerce. It was thought to be a way to increase their progress during war and peace.

Different Types Of Boats

Rowing has a wide variety of different types of boats, but the fastest style is a long thin aerodynamic boat. In rowing there are many different types of which that are split into two categories, 1 category is Sweep Rowing, and the other is sculling, sculling is when you have two oars each in different hands, and sweep rowing is you guessed it, rowing with 1 oar, that oar is held in both your hands.

About My Aunty ( Emma Twigg )

Emma Twigg is an OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST, she won her Gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo games, even though she retired after the Rio Olympics, she came back stronger and tougher. Her first Olympics were in 2004, and she made it into the final but roughly came 8th, she missed the podium in London by 3 secs, and was 0.3 seconds away from 3rd in Rio, so she was very determined to win. Emma was a silver medalist in the 2019 World Champs, but it wasn't enough so she went to the Tokyo Olympics and won gold. She has some very cool and handsome nephews ( me and my brothers). Her hometown is Cambridge in NZ, it is known to a lot of NZ Olympians such as most of the rowing team, the cycling team and much more.

Rowings 1st Olympic event was the 1900 Paris Olympic games, back then the oars were made out of wood so as you can imagine it must've been a lot slower. Rowing originated in England where they used it as public transport. The estimated number of rowers sits just above 3 billion, that's a lot.It is an amazing sport and I encourage you to do it.

Lazy Lions.

     Kia Ora,

For writing I have been learning about Lions,

Lions are my favourite animal so I know A thing or 2 about them.I have made an Information report about them.

Here it is,

         Lions

Lions are Strong and aggressive big Cats,

But they are not the biggest big cat, they are 2nd to the Rare Siberian Tiger.

             Food

Lions are at the top of the ladder when it comes to food. They kill almost everything they see, including Antelope, Gazelle, and wild pigs.Lions are also carnivores (which means they only eat meat.)

             Behaviour

Males and females have completely different behaviour. Males are lazy and rely on the females to do the work. They hunt as a pride, which is a group of up to 30 Lions!!!!

Habitat

Lots of Lions live in the African Savannah, where it is really dry. (That is probably why the male Lions are lazy) but in spring it is wet and dewy.

A Lion is a powerful predator with an amazing roooaaarrr, that can be heard from up to 8ks away. Lion scent mark their territory.

What is your favourite animal?

When I did this I found it hard to find some facts and where to get them from.

I hope you've enjoyed.

Mysterious Matariki

I have been learning about matariki, I have made a piece of writing.

Here it is.

Matariki is a cluster of 9 stars and is also a star in the group, in which the maori celebrate.

One way people celebrate is  having a big breakfast. One meal they have for breakfast is a hangi. A hangi is a meal that is cooked underground, and contains lots of meat and vegetables.

Matariki celebrations also can involve flying kites, fireworks, and hanging lanterns. Flying kites is a maori tradition.Fireworks are a cool sight and happen in July.Lanterns are lights that are also a tradition.

Matariki is a cluster of 9 stars, their names are: Matariki, Waiti, Waita,Waipuna rangi, Tupu-a-rangi, Tupu-a-nuku, Pohutukawa, uru-a-rangi, and Hiwa-ti-rangi.

Matariki represents the season of winter where the sun sets, the crops start to die, the stars sparkle and the cold arrives.

I have also made a Matariki star.

Here it is.

I hope you enjoyed.

My reliable Reindeer.

Today I have been making a google drawing of my reindeer, I did that because I write a persuade to santa to tell why my reindeer is better than others.

If you cant see it clearly it says: Santa my reindeer has legs that at can transform into stuff, natural lightning eyes, it´s got a rope that is made of his own fur it is attached to his skin, antlers that can grow to catch presents that fall out and a Christmas coloured tail.
If that is not good i don´t know what is.

Terrific Tips To Survive A Terrifying Storm!!

  • If your outdoors:

  • Keep an eye at the sky. Look for darkening skies, flashes of lightning, or increasing winds. Lightning often proceeds rain, so don’t wait for the rain to begin. If you hear the sound of thunder, go to a safe place immediately.

  • The best place to go is a sturdy building or a car, but make sure the windows in the car are shut. Avoid sheds, picnic areas, baseball dugouts and bleachers.

  • If there is no shelter around you, stay away from trees. Crouch down in the open area, keeping twice as far away from a tree as far as it is tall. Put your feet together and place your hands over your ears to minimize hearing damage from thunder.

  • If you’re with a group of people stay about 15 feet from each other.

  • Stay out of water. It’s a great conductor of electricity. Swimming, wading, snorkeling and scuba diving are not safe. Also, don’t stand in puddles.

  • Avoid metal. Stay away from clotheslines, fences, and drop your backpacks because they often have metal on them.

  • If you’re playing an outdoor activity, wait at least 30 minutes after the last observed lightning strike or thunder.

  • If your outdoors:

    • Avoid water. It’s a great conductor of electricity, so do not take a shower, wash your hands, wash dishes or do laundry.

    • Do not use a corded telephone. Lightning may strike exterior phone lines.

    • Do not use electric equipment like computers and appliances during a storm.

    • Stay away from windows and doors, and stay off porches.

    • IF SOMEONE IS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING:

      • Call for help. Call 1-1-1 or send for help immediately.

      • The injured person does not carry an electrical charge, so it is okay to touch them.
