Pentecost poster.

 I have learnt about Pentecost over the past few days, here is what i´ve learnt. 

Crazy cross country

 On Wednesday the 19th of May, New Brighton Catholic School had cross country.I am a year 4 so I had to run 1 kilometre,I also have 2 (and one that goes to preschool) siblings that go to this school so they had to do it as well.Carlos my youngest sibling that goes to this school had a good start and sprinted the whole way, in  the end he came 1st!!!!🤩🤯 Next was me, I was sooo nervous, the next thing I know, we were off.It was a long run but in the end I came... 2nd,so now it´s up to my older brother if we can all get into the top 3.Soon after Rico (my oldest brother) was on the track he was running fast when he finished he came 3rd.It was unbelievable all 3 brothers came in the top three.It was a fun day but next time my goal is to be a bit smarter and be coming second, and at the end sprint to get in front of the person in 1st.How did you go at cross country.

🤩🤩🤩 My Favourite Thing This Term!

 

This is my favourite thing this term, I hope you enjoy.🤯

My favourite thing this term was on my dad´s birthday.My brothers,my parents and I went to Akaroa. While we were there, we went on a 2 & ½ hour long nature cruise.We saw the world's smallest and rarest dolphin called, drum roll please ...the hector's dolphin.There are only 300 of their kind left.Then we went out for dinner at a place called Ma Maison, I had a fish burger with lots of VEGGIES, IT WAS DELICIOUS.

Next time I go there I'd love to swim with the dolphins (If it's not too cold🥶). 

😤 Cantankerous Camp Day!!

On Friday the 8th of April, Children throughout the whole school years  1 - 4  went on a Junior camp day.

We went around parts of Rawhiti Domain and completed a treasure hunt. We split up into groups of 8. After a long walk we sat in tents and played around with our friends. We came back to school and went home for the day
